I am a qualified Level 2 British LTA coach and member of Sutton LTC. Having lived in the UK for 10 years and coached at the Anabel  Croft Tennis Academy at the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton, I moved back to Dublin in 2015 to be back with family.  I live with my other half in Sutton and we have a 10 year old son.

My family and I have been travelling to La Manga Tennis Resort for over 6 years. We love La Manga Sports resort and all it has to offer, but even more, we love training at the MDZ Academy. We have been taking Senior and Junior Teams across to La Manga to train at the MDZ Academy for over 2 years now.  My  dream is to give as many players as I can, the chance to   experience this fantastic Tennis academy and training facility in a team environment where you will be given the opportunity to exceed and excel.

"You are not tired.!!!.... Vamos!!!"

Miguel Dios Zitterman, Founder MDZ Academy

Miguel is a former ATP professional and has coached ATP Tour players.  He is a former coach at the La Manga Resort and having found coaching young talent more rewarding, he set up the MDZ Tennis Academy in 2008. From his years on the ATP Tour, Miguel knows what it takes to be a tennis professional and his training sessions are justifiably demanding and intense.

Passion and energy in Training...

Many of Miguel's students go on to scholarships in the United States. Miguels has had success nationally with his Junior league teams.  Prepare to work hard for Miguel as he will push you to your limit.

"And one more...and one last more..... come on you're not tired.....!!"

- Miguel Dios Zitterman, 2019, 2018, 2017....

You are part of the Tour Team

For the time we are away.. ...

....we are a Team. We eat all meals together, we sleep in the same accommodation together and we spur each other on. If someone needs a pick me up to help them get through the training we have their backs. There is lots of high fives on this trip! There are no heads-down, no sorry I missed that shot....fist pumps and high-5's to get back on track!

We will play as a team. Our final day will be a Team event against local players. We will agree the teams and put out our strongest pairs / singles.

The little things we will do to keep costs down on (Junior trips especially) will be to do a big shop at the start of the trip to get breakfast and lunches in for the tour duration. This will keep costs down and encourage all players to spend time together.
